sunday stills ~ abstract

8.19.21 (iphone)

She lost herself in the trees
among the ever-changing leaves.

She wept beneath the wild sky
as stars told stories of ancient times.

The flowers grew towards her light,
the river called her name at night.

She could not live an ordinary life
with the mysteries of the universe hidden in her eyes.

Thank you! I rarely find poems that match me & what I am trying to share through my photography.

Abstract, was a good and challenging theme. Throughout the week I attempted some cowgirl pool/water phone shots which turned out okay. My fallback was to shoot active light painting (always abstract) but requires a second person. Instead, I tried to see abstractly during my hikes. I am loving Sunday Stills 2.0!! Feel free to join us :))
