sunday stills ~ streets and roads

Our road

Where troubles are left behind, and dreams lie ahead.

It is much longer than appears in the photo's.
Our road is really just our driveway, but feels like much more than that.

Our curve

I always wonder what I will find when I take this curve.

It leads towards everything that is us.
Our home, and then continues towards our barn.

Our temporary field road

We have come so far, and yet so far away.

The field road is well traveled, by trucks large and small.
It leads to the back of our arena construction site.

The long and winding road to your happy place!

Yes, join in the photog fun!! There are several Sunday Stills out there, but this one is a friendlier low key small group that just restarted. It is no pressure, and you will find familiar faces :)

My favourite kind of road, the ones that lead home. Looks like you have a sandy base there?

Cool images! I love what they represent. Country roads, take me home, to the place I belong.

Yes, we do have a sandy base. Our property ranges from pure sand on the northern side to sandy loam on the southern side. These photos are in the sandy loam area. The first photo is the gravel part of our road ('er driveway) that was hauled in. It was the first project on our property. There was absolutely nothing but fields and trees when we bought it in 2016. We had to use our neighbors driveway just to access our home/barn area.
