When light filters through the tree's in our woods, it brings shaded nature to life. Especially in March. Rusty colored pine needles mixed with brown oak leaves blanket the ground. The combination makes bright green stumps pop! It was fun finding green on our St. Patty's Day walk.

Stumps are a good place to look for leprechauns. However, I didn't find any. Probably a good thing, since they are known for being mischievous.
I found six four leaf clovers on our land in 2024. They were all green when found/picked.
Happy St. Patrick's Day
Wishing you all the Luck O' the Irish!

I haven’t seen a four leaf clover in years. Lucky you! I can only imagine how the pups love those walks with you! Good for the soul!
A green neck scarf was the only green for me around here! We spent the day picking up the new mare, so it was a good day. Nice that you don't have snow- we didn't, and then we did.
Lucky you for finding 4 leaf clover! Looks like someone logged that area years ago. I love beautiful mossy stumps.
What a nice walk you had.
Wow. Lucky 2024! What a beautiful pressing. The mossy areas sure stand out around here, too. We will take any green we can get.
Pretty stumps...and you are a lucky one finding the four leaf clovers!
