Can it get any colder? I hope not. It was -18F when we went down to do morning chores today. The girls hair was tipped with frost. I was glad to hug their fuzzy warm bodies. I had my little point-in-shoot in my coat pocket, and froze my fingers off trying to get a quick pic. Glad Brad had a good laugh, while I did a photo dance with Cierra...

...and enjoyed watching the tips of my own hair turn frosty grey, the longer we stayed outside. I don't need any help in that department, thanks anyways Ma Nature!

It is VERY cold but I have to say I've never seen frosty eye lashes!!! wow!
Cierra might just start a new fad among horses: White mascara.
I can't believe you got that photo! Oh, that makes me shiver! I thought Pie and Sovey had it cold but we are only at 10 degrees and that is positive!
Stay warm!
Funny on the white mascara! Harmony's lashes looked the same way this morning, altho they aren't as long. Unfortunately Harmony's photos didn't turn out, which makes no sense. She stood like the good girl she is, while I was two-stepping with young Cierra. She did not want her picture taken today, not that I blame her it was freezing. Normally she'll stand all day.
Oh my, that is the most amazing shot...frozen lashes!
To cold for my bones-how do you do it?
And to think that I've been complaining about the cold!! Maybe I'll just have to stick to complaining about the rain from now on...LOVE the frosty lashes - so pretty!!
I loved that picture. It was worth the cold fingers. Hope spring comes soon for all of us.
