Sunday Stills ~ Take a Closer Look

Take a Closer Look at some tiny figs that grow on my indoor fig tree. I've had the tree for over thirty years, not too long ago it started producing fruit/seeds that are around an inch or smaller. I don't own a tripod, or macro lens, so I'm not able to get super close crisp shots. Someday I hope to, since macros can capture more detail then one would think. I love that about all photography in general...

...some of my favorite close-ups are of equine eyes. They are big and beautiful, and reveal not only their soul...

I love your eye shots. It's something I've never tried, must have a go.

I too love eye shots they are just so cool. But those figs, can you eat them they look so neat!

Martine, I bet you'll enjoy it! I've found blue sky's with a warm sun, when the horses are mellow, work well.

I have no idea if the figs are edible Crystal, probably should look into that!

Nice shots. We just planted two fig trees this year. Hoping to see some figs next year. :)

Great photos! Nothing better than fig jam! Hope you can eat those.
The last photo of the horse's eye is wonderful ... such a sensitive expression.

Always love horse eye shots! Koda, I presume?

Thanks all! I've always thought of the tiny figs as a seed pod so to speak.

Shirley, yes both shots are of Koda - who has been doing a good job of melting my heart these days.
