Sunday Stills ~ your favorite place

The challenge this week is "your favorite place".  Anyplace you have been or in your local area, wherever you feel at peace or just like to relax.

My favorite place, is on my horse's back.

That's a good one. Earlier this week we were facing rain and snow every day, so I didn't think I could get out to take pictures of my favorite place. My husband suggested that I just take a picture of my saddle.

Thanks for visiting my favorite place with Koda & I!

Nuzzling, you're husband had a good idea. I try not to use archive photo's (and this one is a repost)as it defeats the reason I participate in Sunday Still's. But, it really is my favorite place and was my best option.

Looking forward to visiting other fav's!

I agree , the view from the back of a horse feels like the top of the world.

That's a lovely photo, looks like a nice trail to ride.

I agree. Some of my favorite places is on horseback too. I love looking down the path between the horse's ears.

Soon it will be Auckland cup day. Women and men dress in their finest. Unfortunately neither my husband nor I are interested in horses. We were too poor when we were young.

Do you have a cup day?

Thanks all, it was a memorable ride. One of the first trailering, as a three year old. Looking forward to heading back :)

Ann, the US has the Kentucky Derby which I assume is somewhat similar.

Kacy, has your hubby ever tried riding? Too much togetherness isn't usually a good thing. I don't get to see, or barely talk, to my hubby during work hours. Horses, are one of the things we share in common. I didn't know that for a while, but eventually his Grandma spilled the beans for him. That is one day I'll never forget, she loved every minute of it!
