pasture time ~ 2 of 5
Pasture time post one featured all three horses playing. This post the focus is on Cierra. She has grown into a beautiful mare, and still has her sweet lovable personality. It is so fun to watch her self induced running with her tail flagged and long mane blowing in the breeze!

Just beautiful...she really has grown into a fine looking horse. I agree, it is so very enjoyable to watch the horses interact and just enjoy themselves. Thanks for checking in on me a while back...I've been gone from my blog for a while now. Wasn't planned, and I've checked in and done some reading from time to time, but for some reason, I just haven't wanted to write anything. Strange huh? But we're good, busy and enjoying nice weather. Going on a week long horse camp-out over the 4th. Hope all is well with you all too.
It's so great to hear from you Lorie! I've been back to your blog several additional times, checking for any updates. It's good to know all is well & you are enjoying yourselves! I've had a case of bloggers block too, I think we all do from time to time. Sometimes it just feels a bit mundane. I've got some posts planned now, that will hopefully get me back in the groove. I know "good bloggers" blog on a schedule, but IMHO there is nothing wrong with sharing when the mood strikes.
We are doing great, and took a summer trail trip too! Post to come after the pasture series, which may seem ordinary to many - but when you don't have your horses outside your window - pasture time is extraordinary!!
Have a wonderful time on your trail trip! Take some pics. I'll be ready to read about if you feel like sharing, but either way ~ enjoy spending time with your horses!!
Lovely, lovely Cierra!
It's good to hear from you again. That Ciera is a pretty mare and such an interesting color. She shows up as true chocolate brown on my screen. Not something you see very often in horses. The color really highlights her chiseled looks, it's very striking.
She really is lovely Shirley. I've always felt the prettiest part of her is her demeanor. My hubby sure knows how to pick them.
Thanks Dancing. Cierra is actually a smokey black. Some people give them additives, blanketed them or keep them out of the sun to retain the darker coat - but we've enjoyed her many coat colors since she was a baby.
