To change the subject before I publicly say more than I should, Koda & Nemo have been good boys lately and responding well to their training. Nothing completely new added, we continue ground-work with variations. We get asked alot when they will be ready to ride, my answer remains the same - not yet. In our opinion, they are too young. They were born one day apart (awwwe) and turned two at the end of April, just because they look big doesn't mean they should be ridden. We are enjoying our time helping them mature, immensely. I realized I haven't taken any photos of them lately, enjoy a couple pics from tonight.

That is soooo scary to find a gate open like that. Glad the horses were safe and unaware of their opportunity to escape.
Good of you to wait for your horses to mature before riding them. I think so many are backed way to young. You can't do too much of that good ground work. It really pays off.

Thanks for your thoughts. Horses need us to help keep them safe, I know it wasn't done on purpose - just carelessness...
I agree with you, too many rush and find importance on what young age a horse was broke and not enough on when they are physically and mentally ready.
