Our turbulent Summer weather has been producing some pretty amazing clouds. They absolutely fascinate me!! I will take partly cloudy over boring full sun any day of the week.
Spending time on this blessed land has opened my eyes even wider to the ever morphing shapes in the sky. Clouds on the north side of the river are closer to those of us on the ground. Really, they are!! I've been told "it is the river effect".

Some days I can't see much further than our windows, but views are still entertaining.

Wide open views draw me outside, even when I cannot see clouds or the sky.
Clouds make a beautiful sunset jaw dropping.

better look quick, before the clouds swim away

yesterday evening I was floating and pondering clouds

It is SO dang gum hot outside, I might just keep my head in the cool clouds.

Warm here too, I love to watch the clouds, we can only see overhead here too many trees:)
So cool. It’s like the ocean is floating above you in cloud forms. I would also take clouds over full sun. Full sun is boring and relentless. I had to zoom in on that window feeder. It looked like it was hovering. It’s really cool. You get to see the birds up close from the comfort of your home.
Linda, we love our window hummer feeder and so do they! My younger kids grew up watching the little wonders up close. I've gone through several types of hummingbird feeders over the years and finally found a quality window feeder that lasts. I also hang one and plant flowers they like. Hummingbirds up close provide frequent entertainment. It is so cute that they also hang out on the nearby deck wires.
As a kid, my Grandmother told us to lay on blankets in the yard and watch the clouds. She said it would make us smarter and we could find stories in the sky.
I think she was just making us be quiet, but we took it to heart.
Beautiful shots.
The clouds are fascinating for sure. I wish you cooler weather, my friend!
Ah clouds, ever entertaining! Yeah that is one big fish, with plenty of fins. I hope we get some clouds soon that are not rain clouds! Alberta has been inundated with rain, thunderstorms and tornado/hail warnings. I haven't even hung my hammock in the gazebo yet.
Looks like you get river fog there, as we do.
I ordered one for our house. ❤️
