2026 show season came and went. Padame went to 4 shows. Brad showed her at all, except the one in MN. Without traveling, show options are limited. WI AQHA show options are dwindling and classes are small. They continue partnering with other breeds/States in an effort to keep cost down and interest up.
Padame's trainer showed her in Ranch Riding and also Ranch Trail. Brad showed Padame in Ranch Riding. From the little he shared, it all went pretty well and they ended on a good note. I was not able to attend the shows. Due to distance and timing.
Watching Brad's lesson last month gave me a better understanding of where they are at as a team. He continues learning a higher skilled level of riding that takes more finesse. It is not easy.

The level of training and work those two have to do is amazing.
That’s awesome. I am not even capable of that level of riding. My brain just shuts off at a certain point and decides it wants to remain at its current level forever. I should be an Olympic rider by now with all the lessons I’ve had. 😂 My hat is off to him. And she is a beautiful horse.
It is sad that the AQHA shows are dwindling. I think people are more interested in doing events that have payouts rather than points.
That kind of finesse takes time, both for horse and rider. Glad Brad got out to a few shows this year. Love the B/W photo.
Padame is a beauty! Brad is devoted to her and the training!
