I have written a post, but forgot to push publish, and now it’s outdated. We are staying busy though and all the horses are doing well. We have our own pregnancy here, with Cowgirl. She’s still recovering from her tendon injury. Being away and keeping busy might be best for Cierra. The capitalized code ...Yes Crcr is the same as nCr. The capitalized code means 1 copy. If two of the same are capitalized it means homozygous, for example EE means homozygous black. For your further education and confusion, ee means red with no black. aa means the horse does not carry agouti, which is the gene that distributes black to the points only, hence a bay or a buckskin would be coded Aa or AA. I'm lost on color ...Well this is exciting news! I'm lost on color too. Until they come out I don't think you know what you're getting. I"m sure there's all kinds of breed color combinations you can use to sort of get what you want but I'm basically lost. Hope you have a well-behaved beautiful healthy baby. Cierra will be a good mom I'm sure. The sire is gorgeous. More surprised with the terminology "black type pedigree" referring to racing and not color. Then again, I am not remotely into horse racing. Love learning new things. I thought "black type pedigree" was referring to color because the link is listed separately and next to his five panel test result (that link doesn't work either). Shows what I know about color, not much. I have no doubt you are right.<br /><br />Cierra's genetic wizard breeder (she speaks in tongues lol) listsaurorahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04731529798233954353noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-689872777639220238.post-9320643028075484602020-10-12T22:35:21.987-05:002020-10-12T22:35:21.987-05:00Well that's exciting!
